Tricolor SJCH Freja ... "the english setter of the year in Sweden 1998" was born 30.04.92, died 20.09.04. She was awarded with eleven prizes in different kinds of trials. Her greatest was first place at the international Swedish Winter Trial 1998 where she won CACIT and gained enough merits to become a champion. Her awards include two 1st places in youngster stakes, one first place in open stakes and three first places in winner's stakes. One of these was a forest trial and that is not so common for a FTCH here in Sweden. In the show ring she won an open stake and a winner's stake with a certificate. Through the years she got 27 puppies in four litters (A-, C-, D- and E-), among them high awarded trial dogs and good hunters. |

| Blue belton SUCH Prickis ... was born 23.01.91, died 03.12.00 and was sired by my first setter Ripp. Ripp never won any prizes. I was too interested in hunting with him and because of that he wasn't matched and broked enough for trials. His daughter Prickis became a Show Champion in Sweden. Prickis won three certificates in the ring and 1st open stake in trial, in Sweden a qualification to get the Show Champion title. She had one litter, the B-litter, sired by a dog called Molle from my hometown. One of those puppies was Tira. Prickis' working style was "closer" and you could always trust her to do her job. You always knew where she was even in very heavy covered terrain. She had a very good nose and when she was pointing you could be sure she had got'em. |

Tricolor SUCH Vira-Blåtira (called Tira) ..."the english setter young dog of the year in Sweden 1998" is number 4 of my dogs through the years. Tira is from my own breeding, kennel Ödebygdens, and is a daughter of Prickis. She was born 19.02.97 and won the biggest hill trial for young dogs 1998, "Fjällpokalen", over 57 entrants from all over Sweden and some from Norway. In the spring 2000, Tira took the step up to winnerstake with 1st open stake. The day after she became 2nd in her first winnerstake start and in 2001 she won her first winnerstake with certificate. She has been exhibited several times in different classes, three with certificate, three with B I R and two with B I S. She is of course Show Champion. She has got three litters, the F-litter (july-01), the G-litter (may-03) and nowdays (aug-04) the H-litter. |

Frode is also from my own breeding. She's a daughter to Freja. Her father is the norweigan import Shogun Du Wouwse Plantage that was a son to the famous champion Luca from the Francini- kennel. She was born 08.02.99. Her first starts in trials resulted in 3 x 1st junior stake all with honor price. And all theese prices were taken in two following weekends. After that she has been started very few times in open stake, because of too hard bird handling (a real killer). In april-03 she became some reasonable and in springtrial she has got 2nd and 3rd open stake. A year later 2004 in Abisko, she took the open-stake 1st price and became best of all open stake dogs. As a practical hunter she manage to "keep up the steam" for many days and as she also has a tremendous good nose she's very valuable for me. The future will show if she's able to reach the highest positions also in winner stake. She's athletic built and looks more like a male. Her name Frode is also a name for a boy. However, in the showring she has got the 1st price in huntingclass, but that will also be enough for her. |

Bonita Senorita our third own bred dog in the kennel. She's from the G-litter, i.e. the 7th bred litter from the kennel. "Rita", as we call her, is a daughter to "Tira" and we used a Frejason from the D-litter, FIN UCH SUCH Ödebygdens D Nipsu, for her. Rita is owned and handled by my fiancée Helena. With this breeding we got the best from my two sourcebitches Prickis and Freja i.e. Rita is a very genuin Ödebygdens product. Rita is a very smart dog, perhaps sometimes too smart. She has many times tried to get her own way, specially in her early days, but also a dog with honest eyes doing her very best when you wish. She has a tremendous nose, always finding the birds if they are. When starting her in junior stake, she often found the birds & pointed but many times her will was too strong to kill them before we were close enough to remind her about the rules. But after an intensive training period and also some very serious conversation with her in the spring 2005, the result of the work was shown and she started to make everything correct. Before the last 4 trials for her in junior stake, she did 1st class work every 11 days after each other. So when starting her we were quite sure she was going to make success. And so she did. 3 of 4 possible awards with the best result 1st junior stake. In the Abisko trial she also was classed as the best junior. During autumn 2005 we took a break with her on the competition arena. She was learned quite throuh to be an every-time safe retriever. In 2006 during two early marchdays of trial with extremely cold weather in southern Lapland (minus 30 degrees in the morning), she showed her splendid class in search. In Saturday there were no birds for the dogs, but in Sunday she found her single ptarmigan and showed all the disciplines for the 1st prize in open stake. So with only two starts in very young age she reached the winner stake. She is classed by the Swedish Setter Club as breeding-bitch and in late autumn 2006 she will have her first litter.
